The Eagle River Lions club host their annual July 3rd Independent Day celebration for the community.  Come out and enjoy music, vendors, beer garden, kids activities and a fantastic firework display.  The SLML host the face and hair painting booth and provide free vision screening in the vision trailer and help ER Lions where needed.

Alaska's largest squirt gun scuffle, Houston Fire Department encourages youths (and the young at heart) to enjoy their Independence Day in a safe and engaging environment. Save the fireworks for the professionals, and stay cool in the sun. There will be fire truck demonstrations, water slides, a snack and drinks bar for the kids.

Come on downtown and cheer on our Lions with the Vision Trailer in the Anchorage Veterans 4th of July Parade.

The Willow Area Community Organization (WACO) in Willow, Alaska hosts a 4th of July parade and picnic. Staging for the parade is at the Baptist Church at 11AM. The parade starts at noon and is followed by a picnic at the Willow Community Center.  

Palmer Lions will be offering free Visionscreening at the game- out of the District Vision Trailer.
