SUMMARY:Kodiak Annual Crab Fest “It’s Otter Chaos”
DESCRIPTION:Crab Fest began in 1958 and is a time for the community to celebrate the abundant resources that we receive from the sea. The festival is traditionally held for 5 days over Memorial Day weekend. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKodiak Crab Festival 2025 has been scheduled for May 22-May 26\, 2025. There will be various events surrounding the festival. An official schedule of events will be posted as the date gets closer. The Kodiak Crab Festival Grand Parade takes place on Saturday\, May 24th beginning at 10 AM and runs along Mill Bay Road between Powell and Bartel Street. \nActivities:\nTraditional and quirky tournaments\, games\, races and competitions. The Norm Holm Survival Suit Race. Coast Guard demonstrations in the harbor including helicopters and rescue swimmers. Crab Festival Art Show.
