DESCRIPTION:August in Alaska means there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy at Alyeska Resort. One of the best ways to get outside and spend time with your family is by picking blueberries\, celebrating blueberries and being surrounded by like-minded blueberry enthusiasts in the Chugach Mountains! These delectable little morsels pack a flavorful punch and luckily for us\, they grow plentiful on Alaska’s mountains. Stay the night at Alyeska and take advantage of the annual Blueberry-themed event with vendors\, live music\, a pie-eating contest\, kids zone\, and of course\, berry picking!\nVisit the Lions’ booth where they sell blueberry goodies\, including jam\, muffins\, bb lemonade\, etc. A sampling of John Trautner’s photos will be on display for sale.
