Alaska's largest squirt gun scuffle, Houston Fire Department encourages youths (and the young at heart) to enjoy their Independence Day in a safe and engaging environment. Save the fireworks for the professionals, and stay cool in the sun. There will be fire truck demonstrations, water slides, a snack and drinks bar for the kids.

The Willow Area Community Organization (WACO) in Willow, Alaska hosts a 4th of July parade and picnic. Staging for the parade is at the Baptist Church at 11AM. The parade starts at noon and is followed by a picnic at the Willow Community Center.

          The Fairbanks Offroad Lions are hosting an event on July 12, 2025, for a “Soft Opening” of the Fairbanks Offroad Lions Offroad Park. They will be grilling yummies from noon to one. Please contact Lion Cory Bellows at (907) 378-8240 for more information.
