The Lions 49A Vision team will be offering free Visionscreening to the students and their families out of the district vision trailer.

This back-to-school event hosted by the Anchorage Health Department and Parks & Rec’s Fairview Recreation Center is for Fairview & surrounding neighborhood kids with school supply giveaways. They invited community & social service organizations to staff booths or donate supplies or useful items.

Each kid attending the event will be given a passport. They will need to visit and get a stamp from each of the booths, The student will receive a backpack and school supplies when they turn in their filled passport. In the past we have had anywhere from 500 – 1500 people show up to the event.
