Kodiak Lions Crab Fest- You, Me and the Sea

Crab Fest began in 1958 and is a time for the community to celebrate the abundant resources that we receive from the sea. The festival is traditionally held for 5 days over Memorial Day weekend.

Activities:

Traditional and quirky tournaments, games, races and competitions. The Norm Holm Survival Suit Race. Coast Guard demonstrations in the harbor including helicopters and rescue swimmers. Crab Festival Art Show. Kodiak Fish Toss, Marathon and Half Marathon, Blessing of the Fleet, Crab Festival Grand Parade on Saturday morning.

Thursday, May 21st – Noon to 8 PM*
Friday, May 22nd  – 10 AM to 8 PM*
Saturday, May 23rd – 11 AM to 8 PM*
Sunday, May 24th– 10 AM to 8 PM*
Monday, May 25th – 10 AM to 5 PM*
