The Eagle River Lions club host their annual July 3rd Independent Day celebration for the community. Come out and enjoy music, vendors, beer garden, kids activities and a fantastic firework display. The SLML host the face and hair painting booth and provide free vision screening in the vision trailer and help ER Lions where needed. |

Alaska's largest squirt gun scuffle, Houston Fire Department encourages youths (and the young at heart) to enjoy their Independence Day in a safe and engaging environment. Save the fireworks for the professionals, and stay cool in the sun. There will be fire truck demonstrations, water slides, a snack and drinks bar for the kids.

The Willow Area Community Organization (WACO) in Willow, Alaska hosts a 4th of July parade and picnic. Staging for the parade is at the Baptist Church at 11AM. The parade starts at noon and is followed by a picnic at the Willow Community Center. |
